Snow in Houston '09

We had another snow in Houston this year. It wasn't that much but good enough to take photos with, lol! Here are some photos. You can check out my flickr account for more.

I'm very thankful for...

so many things in my life and although I may not be able to list them all here today, I would like to blog about a few.

I'm thankful to our dear Heavenly Father for another day of life, for the things I see, the air I breath, the foods I eat and the people I love.

I'm thankful for a loving husband, who loves me more than anyone else in the world; who takes care of the family real well; who puts up with me more than anyone I know and the very best friend and lover a woman can have.

I am thankful for my husband's job that takes care of the family.

I'm thankful for the roof over my head and the place we call home.

I'm thankful for my family in the Philippines, who misses me every single day and is longing to see me any time soon.

I'm thankful for my in-laws for being such nice people, who treats me like one of their own.

I'm thankful for my AJ for being a great big brother to his little brothers. I'm grateful of how he teaches his brothers about the things he learn from school; for giving them comfort when they needed one; for testing my patience; for being so smart; for being so helpful and so much more. I couldn't have asked for a better first born.

I'm thankful for my Aiden for being such a sweet child; for the unexpected hugs and kisses on ordinary days; for being smart; for learning how to write his name without my help (that was such a surprise!); for being a wonderful big brother to Aerell when AJ's at school; for being a great helper around the house, for challenging my photography skills and for so much more.

I am thankful for my Aerell for being my baby; for those tiny hugs and wet kisses; for wanting to keep mommy to himself; for those big smiles when he sees my camera pointing at him; for being my tiniest helper; for staying on his crib when I tell him to do so even though he can climb out of it if he wants to and for so much more.

I am thankful for the trials that came my way. They have taught me so much and have brought more blessings into my life.

I am thankful for my friends all over the world, both those I've met in person and those I've only met online, whose thoughtful words give me comfort. I am grateful for technology for allowing us all to have this friendship.

I am thankful for the people who have stolen an important part of my life in the past for without them, I wouldn't be where I am now.

I am thankful for those who hate my guts. They make life interesting, lol!

I am thankful for my blog visitors and lurkers. Thank you for the traffic! hehehe!

I'm sure there's a lot more to be grateful for. I am in awe of all the blessings that Heavenly Father has showered upon us. I will forever be grateful!

Aiden's 4!

Our Aiden turned 4 last Saturday. He was very excited about his birthday. He was counting the days since November started, lol! On Saturday morning, he woke up early and then woke the rest of us by screaming that it's his birthday, lol! We didn't get to do much though. It was barely 50F outside and Mr. Sun was nowhere to be found. Anyway, here are some photos of our 4-yr old.

The cake is homemade. It was my first ever fondant cake, hehe! Didn't do well but there's always a next time, lol! Thanks for peeking!
