Five months old...

and getting cuter if I may say so myself, hehe! No doctor's appointment this month so I can't tell you how much he's gained. I know for sure quite a lot because he's been wearing 12-month-sized outfits now. It's funny though because Aerell doesn't look as chubby as my other 2 boys did at this age. He is quite long though so I guess that made up for it. Anyway, I took these photos 2 weeks ago but didn't feel blogging much lately because of my schedules around here. Some of you have probably seen these 2 on friendster already. I personally don't think these photos are great because of poor lighting in our living room, which forced me to use a much higher ISO than I would have wanted.

At 5 months, Aerell can definitely do a lot of tricks, lol! He loves to hold his feet a lot and play with his toes. He's been crawling in full fours (2 arms and 2 legs) forwards, backwards and even sidewards, lol! No kidding! He can sit by himself now from the crawling position. He eats more and can tell that it's eating time when you put him on the high chair, haha! It is so funny to watch him get excited about it. And oh, I almost forgot to share, he's got one tooth at the bottom now, hurray for Aerell but OUCH for me! LOL! I think the other tooth beside it is getting ready to come out any time soon as well. So much for words, now here are some photos...

he definitely has my smile, hehe!

and I'm lovin' the drool on this one, haha!

still loves to take a bath and throws a fit when you take him out of this tub!

I think this will be it for now. I got a lot more to share but I'll save it for next time. Have a great day everyone and thanks for visiting my blog. I appreciate it a lot.

Scrap Addict Sundays (self with camera)

I'm like two weeks behind on the themes. So, I'm trying to catch up. I'm still trying to find my mojo, hehe. I sure hope I'll find it pretty soon so I can do another one in the next few days. Enjoy!

Father's Day '08

I meant to post this yesterday but I didn't get a chance to really sit on the computer without interruption. Anyway, I hope all the daddies out there enjoyed their day last Sunday. It was the hottest day in Houston this year so far with a high of 99F but we managed to have some fun.

We started the day by making this breakfast for daddy while he was playing with Aerell. AJ and Aiden were "supposedly" helping me in the kitchen, hehe! Then, while daddy was eating his breakfast, the boys got their presents and card out. Aiden got daddy that green shirt he's wearing on the photo below and AJ got him those shorts. Of course Aerell got daddy something too. I forgot to take a photo of it but this is what it looks like only thing is that instead of dad on the cap it says super as in "super dad", hehe!

After breakfast, we went to the zoo (Bear's idea). I should have taken his father's day photo first because this is what they looked like later that day, lol! I think they still look cute but the hot and sweaty look gives me the feeling of discomfort.

I tried to take another shot but Aerell was so interested in the feather that AJ was holding, lol! Oh well, at least I got a photo.

I took this photo 2weeks ago and I was thinking if I didn't get a decent photo of the four of them, I'll use this one instead, hehe!

Aerell turned 5 months old on Father's day. I didn't really get the chance to do his 5-month old photo shoot yet so this will do for now. I thought this nest is too cute, hehe! He looked so comfortable in there. I'll blog more about Aerell next time. Thank you for visiting my blog and for the comments you left on my previous entries. I will try to visit yours as soon as I get the chance. For now, I am very busy with AJ's reading lessons. We only have a few more weeks to practice before the beginning of the school year. So, please understand if I don't get to visit your blogs that much these days.

Bear's Birthday

Thank you very much for the birthday wishes you left for Bear yesterday. I appreciate them and he appreciates them too. Anyway, we didn't do anything extraordinary yesterday. Bear went to work and when he came home, we had this homemade cake ready for him. If you remember last year, the cake I made for him wasn't very pretty at all, haha! He loves lemon cakes and as far as I can remember each year except for 2 (yrs), I always bake a lemon cake on his birthday. Seeing the series of unpresentable cakes I've made, I thought I should work on it this year. This might not be that pretty but I'd say I've came a long way, lol! I think now, this cake looks half as good as it tastes! I even got creative and decorated it with some lemons and limes, haha! Ok enough patting on the back. Let's move on...

Here are some of my fave pics from last night. No other foods included. I made some Palabok but didn't get the chance to take a photo because Aerell was already screaming, lol! Ok, blame it on him, haha!

the birthday celebrant, making a silly pose, lol!

make a wish and blow!

That's it for today. I have missed Scrap Addict Sundays again but lately, I can't seem to get creative when I open PSP. It's getting hotter and hotter here so maybe we can have some wet fun outside. Till next time! Thank you very much for all the comments on my previous entries.

Happy Birthday...

to this cute and adorable baby, hehe! Of course he's no longer a baby now. With the quality of this photo, I'm sure you already know who this baby is....right? Yup, that's my Bear!

Happy Birthday Bear!!! The boys and I love you very much. We wish you many more birthdays and blessings to come. Enjoy your day! Since you already got a cake...I made you an ice cream birthday card, hehe!
