As much as I want to turn this blog into a photo blog, a part of me still wants to chitchat and that's just what I'm gonna do today, hehe! I have been snacking a lot lately again so I'm not sure how much that affected my weight loss project. We went to the Filipino store last weekend and I almost spent a hundred bucks! Totally didn't plan that but once I'm in there, it's like I'm in the Philippines again, lol! I got a bunch of stuffs but I think the highlight would be the ube ice cream, which to my surprise, the kids loved as well. In case you haven't noticed as far as cakes and ice cream go, the only flavor they love is chocolate. So anyway, all of that ice cream is gone now, lol!
Let's talk about my kids, shall we? AJ has finally finished the whole kindergarten level workbook from Hooked on Phonics. Words can't say enough of how proud I am. I know he has a lot of potentials from the day he was born. Yeah crazy but I guess it's a mother's intuition or something whatever you wanna call it. I've been teaching him to spell his name, say his ABC's and count numbers since he was in my belly, haha! I think he's ready for school. He's been talking about it a lot lately and I can tell he's so excited about the whole school thingy. I, on the other hand have mixed emotions. I am happy and excited too but I can't help to be worried at the same time because growing up, I know that it's always the boys who get into a lot of trouble in school and knowing my AJ, I can just picture myself at the principal's office right now, lol! Man, I am so not ready for that but I hope he'll behave himself like I always tell him (keeping my fingers crossed).
Aiden is finally getting into the potty training habit. He still gets some accidents every now and then but for weeks now, he's been going on the potty by himself especially after waking up in the mornings. We haven't bought diapers for him lately since he only needs one at night. I think I'll switch to pull-ups now. During the day, he wears regular big boy underwears (as he calls it). He has definitely improved a lot as much as growing up is concerned. For the longest time, he has been calling Bear and I, dada and mama respectively. AJ has been teaching him to say daddy and mommy instead since he is a big boy now but as stubborn as he is, he would always refuse. About a week ago, he started calling Bear and I, daddy and mommy. I have to say though I miss being called "mama", hehe! I know it won't be long and Aerell will be saying those words again so I just need to be a little patient.
And speaking of Aerell, man, he is just growing up so fast. At 6 months and a half, he can now stand up while holding on to something. I am amazed at his skills. I'm not sure how heavy he is right now though 'coz we haven't been to the pediatrician yet. He doesn't have a lot of chubs at this age compared to his brothers. I guess that's why he can do a lot of things at his age. He has 2 teeth at the bottom now and uses them a lot on me, lol! It might be too early to tell but I think he is such a mama's boy. He'd follow me everywhere I go and wants me to hold him always if possible, haha! Bear thinks as soon as I quit breastfeeding, he won't be so much of a mama's boy anymore so we'll have to see.
I can definitely talk(or type for this matter), can't I? LOL! I don't and won't force anybody to read what I write. Sometimes, I just feel like jotting down what I'm thinking and feeling. I have to say it is very therapeutic, hahaha! Well, if you've read all of these, thank you very much!
I'll leave you with this layout I created today. I guess you can say that I'm lazy for combining all 6months in 1 page, lol! I even forgot to make a title, oh well. Enjoy!

yayyy, you gotta a new post!! I love the LO you just made, how lovely, lil Aerell is sooo cute (pinches cheeks) naku, ate Riss eversince my MIL left my son with us I had to continue what she had taught him, kahit papano natuto ring magbasa si nate, yun nga lang mejo mabagal pa not like AJ mabilis, kasi naman noon whenever I teach Nate puro tantrums na lang, and it just gets to me. it's just recent that he tries to be a good boy and listen to me once and for all. wala ako makitang hooked on phonics sa mga Walmart dito, I'll try to inquire about it, kung wala naman I guess there's always the library lolz, and yeah totoo yan, nakakaengganyo ang stars sa mga bata! whenever Nate gets it right I give him doodles of stars, happy face and an A+ (lol) too much noh? hahaha, daming kundisyones hehee. anyhoo, I wish I could go on and on but I'll leave it to here hehee, kakaexcite ppasok na mga chikiting natin, you know what me and hubby always imagine ourselves in the principal's office, makulit sobra! but I hope hindi naman... good luck to AJ, ate Riss!! update us with school stuff ok? love yahh and take care!!
and ate, hindi ako payat, mataba na ako sa pic na yun, mas lalo na ngayon hahahah =D God bless
Based on AJ's training I doubt he would be hesitant to go to school. Ready na diay cya kaayo. Good for him!
--Maayo kay giganahan sila sa ube ice cream. Joshua only eats vanilla ice cream and orange sherbet. He is such a picky little one.
I am no way near as what you experienced as a mom having to deal with 3 boys as of this moment. It's quite a handful, but you juggle it well.
I love the scrap!
